1. Overview

Dash-N-Cam stands behind its work and the equipment it installs. Every Dash-N-Cam installation includes a 1-year limited warranty covering both the dash cam device and the installation workmanship.

2. What Is Covered

Device warranty: The dash cam unit, mounting hardware, and micro SD card installed by Dash-N-Cam are warranted against defects in materials and manufacturing for 1 year from the date of installation.

Workmanship warranty: The installation itself — including fuse box wiring, cable routing, and mount adhesion — is warranted against defects in workmanship for 1 year from the date of installation.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

– Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modification
– Damage caused by vehicle electrical issues not related to the installation
– Normal wear and tear, including mount adhesion failure due to extreme heat or direct sun exposure over time
– Damage caused by attempts to remove or reinstall the device by anyone other than a Dash-N-Cam technician
– Loss or theft of the device
– Damage to the micro SD card caused by data corruption or improper handling
– Cosmetic damage that does not affect device function
– Damage or device failure resulting from a cracked, damaged, or replaced windshield

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, contact Dash-N-Cam within the warranty period using our warranty request form at dashncam.com/info/warranty-request. You will need to provide your name, original appointment date, and a description of the issue. A Dash-N-Cam technician will assess the claim and schedule a service visit if warranted at no charge to you.

5. Remedy

At our sole discretion, Dash-N-Cam will repair or replace the defective component or correct the workmanship defect. We do not offer cash refunds under the warranty. Warranty service is performed at the customer’s vehicle location within our service area.

6. Limitation of Warranty Liability

This limited warranty is the exclusive remedy available to the customer. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dash-N-Cam is not liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from a warranty claim.

7. Transferability

This warranty applies to the original customer only and is not transferable to subsequent vehicle owners.

8. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
